I’ve been slacking on my personal goals. Life gets in the way sometimes. But today I’m committed to getting something on the page, because I told myself I would. I don’t mind letting myself get away with things when it feels merited. But today I told myself I would write. It’s not going to be pretty, or meticulously edited—that wasn’t part of the deal. But it feels like the right thing to do, and I’ve spoken the Four Words that cannot be unspoken.

What a great post, and a good reminder that when it comes to doing what’s good for us, we usually won’t feel like it. But if we want to be better, we have no choice. Thanks so much for this, Trisha!

This lesson was so well learned. She always had a choice and always will. What’s great is her choices are always the right ones. And most importantly when she has the choice to sit it out or dance she dances. She has no choice.
